Description
This electronically engineered product allows users to communicate
with equipment in distributed systems and provides remote access
over an Ethernet
connection whether the target equipment is in the local area
or located miles away. It provides a convenient method to monitor
system status such as signal activity, measurements or alarms.
SNMP v1 (simple network management protocol) can be implemented
using this device. Agent software runs on the server which
can be configured to specific customer needs. The Manager system
interfaces over the Ethernet connection to access reports on
the target equipment based on customer requirements. The
Technisys SNMP Embedded Web Server is based on RoHS compliant
industry standard microprocessor technology equipped with
10/100 Ethernet connectivity, GPIO with on-board analog input,
and serial flash memory. The robust features of the hardware
support countless applications like embedded data-logging,
remote device monitoring and control, serial to Ethernet
communications, point of sale, industrial control, building
automation/security and networking.
