The
701180-1D is a portable, laptop sized chassis that is capable
of accepting two (2) Technisys electronic modules, which provide
various signal interface and conversion functions. The chassis
is powered by -48VDC and therefore is suitable for use in a telco
CO. It can be operated independent of CO power using a 48VDC
desktop power supply or Technisys 701219 Battery/Charger Unit
(also a laptop size device). Available now, the 701197 IF Module
is an Intermediate Frequency device that provides attenuation
or gain of 70MHz signals. It provides a 30 MHz bandwidth.
Power is turned on by a front panel rocker switch. Internally, the Laptop
Size Modular Chassis provides +/- 5VDC and +15VDC to the modules and includes
fan operation and control with 12VDC. Green LEDs on the front panel indicate
proper voltages. Red LEDs indicate OVERTEMP and FAN FAIL conditions. All
LEDs can be dimmed or turned off with a front panel switch.
The unit is rack mountable with mounting flanges, provided with each
unit.
Interface:
INPUT POWER
-48VDC @ 2 Amps via a 2.5mm circular jack.
OUTPUT POWER +5VDC, -5VDC and +15VDC distributed to modules.
+12VDC for fan operation and control.
Indicators & Controls:
Green LED – 48VDC, +15VDC, +12VDC, -5VDC
Red LED – OVERTEMP, FAN FAIL
General Specifications:
ENCLOSURE – Painted Aluminum.
POWER SOURCE – AC power adapter provides power to unit from 110/220VAC
50/60 Hz mains.
