  Convert Data/Clock streams to transparent or encoded AMI at T1 or E1 rates. Includes test pattern generator.
  Description:

The Data/Clock Module converts a serial data stream to AMI output at rates up to E2 (8.448 Mbps). A synchronized clock is required to accompany data to implement the transition. The module also includes a self contained Test Pattern Generator, which is can be configured to provide several test patterns and rates. All I/O is through connectors that are accessible on the rear panel and all Test Pattern Generator configuration is accomplished with on board jumpers.

• Encoder On/Off controlled on front panel
