Our line of passive products provides a reliable electrical interface with consistent channel to channel throughput. This line consists of interface panels that provide a reliable transition from high density I/O connectors to lower density connectors. They provide an excellent method for interconnecting equipment in a rack system making the installation supportable and reliable versus very costly 'octopus' cables. The big advantage is evident because the complex 'octopus' cables are expensive to fabricate and nearly impossible to support. If one of the many legs fails, the entire assembly must be replaced. That's expensive and time consuming. To reach 99.9% reliability, you must have hardware that is reliable and supportable, like our passive interface panels.

  • Point to point wiring using standard pin to pin cables versus custom, complex cables which means any single point failure is replaced with a standard cable

  • Designed to support DC through RF, audio, video, analog and digital signaling applications

P/N 701384 84 Channel Interface Panel (for Cicso E1 Switch)      Customer: Booz Allen Hamilton
This rack mounted panel takes up 4RU and provides a transition from the Cisco 15454 E1 Matrix Switch 96 pin I/O connector to 84 concentric twinaxial connectors - 42 channels of input and 42 channels of output. Using 8 of these panels in each system meant that the DoD installation was clean, consistent and organized. Most important, it provided the required repeatability, supportability and reliability.

P/N 701369 32 Channel Interface Panel (for USC )       Customer: Honeywell
Our customer required a high rate digital, controlled impedance interface between a Universal Switching matrix switch and satellite modems. Technisys developed an application specific product to fulfill the need to interconnect between the DB37 I/O on the USC equipment to individual CLOCK/DATA pairs at rates over 50Mbps in a mobile laboratory environment. The successful application resulted in additional work for our customer.
